SI AVVICINA ARTISSIMA 18 ED È GIÀ POLEMICA . . .

Neanche è iniziata e fa già parlare di se Artissima 18. E'di pochi giorni fa infatti la notizia che Artissima avrebbe annullato la partecipazione di Triple Candie, un collettivo di Philadelphia autore di interventi artistici e curatore di mostre e performance. Sembra che tutto fosse già pronto e approvato a luglio, quando il collettivo presentò il progetto: una mostra sul tema dell'Arte Povera da inserire nella sezione non commerciale "Approssimazioni Razionali Semplici”. Sul sito dei Triple Candie si legge precisamente la cronologia dei fatti e così si apprende che il 25 luglio il direttore della fiera, Francesco Manacorda afferma di poter "correre il rischio” e dunque dà il via al progetto. Da quel momento in poi gli artisti sviluppano la loro idea e il 6 agosto si arriva ad una firma di accordo nonché ad un un ingente acconto. La svolta arriva il 3 ottobre quando Manacorda avrebbe scritto che il materiale sarebbe potuto risultare offensivo per gli artisti e per le gallerie presenti alla fiera e che il contesto torinese non avrebbe gradito. Il collettivo scopre di non essere più fra i collaboratori della fiera leggendolo sul sito di Artissima. I lavori di Triple Candie sono stati giudicati forse troppo irriverenti,mentre a giudicare dalle foto del loro sito quello che appare è semplicemente un' arte ironica e pungente verso le opere di Zorio, Anselmo, Pistoletto e Paolini. Una divertente presa in giro che in realtà pone anche degli interrogativi su cosa è stata davvero l'arte povera e su cosa ha lasciato. Insomma cosa è stato il gesto di Artisssima? Un atto di "censura" o un eccessivo zelo nei confronti dell'arte povera?
